Power, capacity
and the right expectations.
Each battery supplies up to 4 kW continuous power and 7.8 kWh usable energy at beginning of life. More capacity also adds battery-side power, subject to inverter and system limits.
Our featured kits use the 9.6 kW inverter: one with 24 kWh of batteries, or two with 48 kWh for larger homes. Both include HMID. Actual supported loads depend on inverter ratings, battery count, operating conditions and the approved design.
The Type 4X enclosure supports indoor or outdoor installations. Each 147.7 lb battery module requires suitable handling and mounting.

Does one battery deliver the full inverter output?
No. Each battery is rated for up to 4 kW continuous charge/discharge. A single module limits battery-only output even with a larger inverter. Your load plan determines the battery count and inverter selection.
Is it a 15-minute whole-home installation?
Hoymiles highlights fast module assembly, connection and commissioning in its product presentation. A complete installation also includes site preparation, electrical work, permits and inspection, so total project time varies.
Can I reuse my older Hoymiles batteries?
The North America HiONE datasheet identifies HiOne-8B-USG3 as the compatible battery. Existing HYS/HAS or HBX/LB equipment needs a separate compatibility and replacement review.
What does the listed inverter price include?
The individual inverter price includes standard accessories and DTS. Our complete kits and package calculator also include the listed batteries and one HMID backup interface, with 13.1% off the package retail total. Installation, optional communications equipment and site-specific materials or accessories are quoted separately.
